India Issues Advisory Asking Citizens in Mali to Stay Indoors Amid Security Concerns

The Government of India has advised Indian citizens currently staying in Mali to remain indoors and exercise caution due to the deteriorating security situation in the country.

According to the advisory issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, the warning comes after reports of increased militant activity and instability in several regions of Mali. Indian nationals have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel and closely follow instructions issued by local authorities.

The Indian Embassy in Mali is closely monitoring the situation and remains in contact with members of the Indian community to ensure their safety. Citizens have also been encouraged to stay connected with the embassy for further updates and assistance if required.

Such advisories are issued as precautionary measures whenever security conditions worsen in foreign countries where Indian nationals are present.
